Shrine at Puri Mission

The Ashrama shrine presents an excellent opportunity and atmosphere for meditation and prayer. Regular morning and evening prayers and Ramanam Sankirtana on every Ekadasi day are conducted in the shrine to stimulate the spiritual aspirations of the people. Devotees participate in the celebrations of birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna Deva, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Krishna, Buddha Deva and Sri Shankaracharya. Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Mahastami, Saraswati Puja, Christmas Eve and National Youth Day with a coluorful procession involving students from all local institutions are also celebrated by the Ashrama. Discourses on Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi & Swami Vivekananda are regularly conducted in the shrine hall every Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday evenings respectively.
