The Ashrama conducts relief services in the event of natural calamities like flood, cyclone, fire, etc. in the right earnest. We are distributing blankets every winter to the distressed people covering several districts in Orissa.
b) Flood Relief:
During the year, the Ashrama undertook flood relief work in the area Delanga, Gop and Kanas block of Puri district and distributed Chira, Sugar, Amul Milk, Biscuits, Candles and Match Boxes among 5439 families of 59 villages. 5000 blankets were also distributed to 5000 families of 109 villages.
a) Fire Relief:
During the year under report the Ashrama conducted fire relief work and distributed Cooked Food ( Rice, Dalma, Curry, Pickle), Baby Food ( Amul Milk, Biscuits), saris, dhotis, Blankets, Mosquito Net, other garments, Napkins, Plastic Mat and sets of utensils (each set containing, 1 dekchi with cover, 1 Khunti, 1 bucket, 1 Karai, 2 serving spoon, 2 plates, 2 tumblers, 2 bowls) and among the fire affected families at Old Sadar Thana Road & Kacheri Road, Puri Town of Puri district.
