The Library, being the first and the oldest public service unit of the Ashrama since 1925, has been serving the general public and students by providing a spacious reading room for all and a separate reading room for girl students. The library provides 5 newspapers and 40 periodicals. It maintains a book lending section for the readers. The library has a collection of around 22,000 books covering various subjects. The text book lending section of the library serves the need of college going students.
